About Channel 3
Channel 3 is Spotswood New Jersey's public access channel and is maintained by hardworking students and staff. Various shows are broadcasted such as, but not limited to, What's Cooking- a cooking show, Sports Lounge- sports coverage, Pit Pass- NASCAR coverage, and Have You Heard- interviews and information about Spotswood itself. Community events and announcements are also shown for convenience as well.
Unfortunately the programs can only be viewed by a Spotswood cable owner. Now this would not be a problem if Spotswood High School just contained Spotswoodians, but it doesn't. Along with kids from Spotswood, there are Helmetta kids and Milltown kids too. Neither of the other towns get to enjoy Channel 3 even though some of the kids from the towns participate in the making of the programs. Add that to the fact that grandparents, aunts, uncles, and any other family or friends want to view their relatives hard work in Channel 3 and you have a crisis. That is what this website is for. To share the awesome power of Channel 3.
